Guilds in Uherský Brod

The Abstract The present work deals with the guilds, which operate on the territory of Uherský Brod from its inception to the year 1859, when the guilds were replaced by trade licensing crafts. The introductory part brings the history of the city itself and guild system. An important milestone in the life of the guilds became the release of the general guild patent and articles. Said instruments are described in separate chapters. The main part is divided into five groups according to the orientation of individual trades, which is an attempt to answer questions about the formation of the guild and its development from archival sources. Emphasis was placed on the analysis guild articles. The work is accompanied by a picture attachment with preserved guild objects. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Guilds of clothing and textile crafts in Krupka

This barchelor thesis called "Guilds of textile and clothing crafts in Krupka" aims to approach and explain working of single textile and clothing guilds in Krupka - guild of tailors, stockings manufacturers, weavers and leather dressers. This barchelor thesis reflects the time period 1589-1859 and presents the information on the numbers of apprencites, getting the master right and functioning of the guilds on the basis of preserved guild statues and guild books.The thesis is divided into several chapters. Sources and literature section contains the information about the sources from which this thesis is based, and the literature, that was used for this thesis or related to the topic of guilds.The following chapter provides a brief development of guilds in the Czech lands. The core of this thesis is a chapter describing in detail the functioning of textile and clothing guilds in Krupka. For supplement the information serve supplements, which contain name lists of taken apprentices and master right holders.
